"Bernstein on Broadway"

Meg sang several Leonard Bernstein classics at 54 Below with the iconic Chita Rivera

"One of the most glorious moments of the evening, "Glitter and Be Gay," performed by the spectacular Megan Styrna. "Glitter and Be Gay" has never been so expertly sung and acted in a cabaret room. It was funny, heartbreaking, and luscious to the ears, and all achieved with a marvelous and specific point of view. This was not your typical well-sung "Glitter and Be Gay." This was a well-acted, highly thought-out performance of the iconic song.

"THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE"

Meg sang at 54 Below as "Luce" in Michael Portantierre and Michael Lavine's cabaret performance of the classic "Boys From Syracuse" in June 2022.

"The members cast of the Boys From Syracuse concert were all at the top of their game but there were some surprises for this writer... Megan Styrna, whose every acting choice made her impossible to ignore, especially during the legendary "Sing For Your Supper"

- Stephen Mosher, Broadway World

"TRUE CONFESSIONS OF THE STRAIGHT MAN"

Meg performed in a 90's farce at the Laurie Beechman Theatre as the spitfire from Staten Island, Adrienne.

"Hannah Coffman and Megan Styrna are also gifted comediennes; Styrna’s Adrienne, in particular, steals every scene she’s in with her Staten Island accent and attitude to match."

-Jed Ryan, Lavender After Dark

"LUDLOW LADD"

Meg as Prudence in Michael Colby's "Ludlow Ladd" at Urban Stages in December 2021

"Megan Styrna is a classic ingenue with a luminescent beauty and a gorgeous coloratura soprano.  Her chest voice would sound great in jazz and pop.  Megan owned the songs, the part, and the stage, with her solo work being off-book entirely, allowing her the freedom to explore the physicality of her character.  In a moment when her black headband accidentally popped off and her hair fell down, she did not miss a beat, and a star was born."

"Megan’s performance reminded me of both Kristin and Barbara Cook."
