Diva From Day One
Megan Styrna is an actress and singer best known for her coloratura soprano, her sassy attitude she brings to her characters, and her kindness both on and offstage. She loves to bring an unexpected twist to a traditional ingenue role, keeping both herself and her audience on their toes.
While living in New York for the past 6 years, she has most notably performed with Chita Rivera at 54 Below and with Broadway legends in several shows at Urban Stages. She has worked loyally with composers/lyricists for years to build both new works and revive older material.
After graduating from AMDA in 2019, she focused on her other interests at The New School, including playwriting, other languages such as Spanish and French, and a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic and diverse city she chose to live in.

Megan hopes to create art that is representative of many different life experiences and perspectives across as many mediums of art as possible.
She has worked in television and film in Chicago as well as industrial work in Las Vegas.
Her greatest dream is to inspire hope and kindness amongst her community and believes singing is the most powerful way to achieve that goal.
Megan is tenacious, sweet, and most importantly, grateful.
